Yay for all you bored people out there!! Another post!!

I've been implicated in a recent rash of Russian sketches lately. Here they are in Chronological order.

This is the first design that I came up with for a Russian Super Hero in a robot suit. The short of it: It doesn't deserve to be affiliated with Russia.

So I spiffied it up a bit. The robot's name is Chernobyl by the way.

So then I Supa-Spiffied it up. A lot. It you look really closely, you can see an angry Russian inside. Or if you don't look closely, you'll see him anyways.

Hey! I've been on a little comic stint lately so here's what I've got so far.
This one was made entirely on the Gimp. I had these awesome comic fonts, some ideas bouncing around in my head, and a little (ok, a lot) of inspiration from Douglas Adams. So, I put 'em together and what do you get??!?!

This one was for English class. It's about the short story by G K Chesterton named "The Invisible Man" (My English teacher says to underline short stories and novelettes but I don't believe her)
It's a great short story. I encourage you to read it. The link is right here.

This next one was for the same story. I had to make an advertisement for the story and whatnot. You get the idea.

I did this one last night in addition to the Hossenfeffer one because I had the Flu. I need to get sick more often so that I produce more art. ; )

I recently got Firefox and I've noticed that my .gif animations of the dancing rectangle are supa' fast compared to Internet Explorer's. So, I'm sorry if you've got Firefox. But hey! Firefox is good at everything else, right?

That first one is just me playing around with different filters on the GIMP. I like colors. The second one is a manifestation of my extreme want for facial hair and also wanting to be a pirate. In that order. Yeah, I know, the eye patch strap goes behind the ear. I guess I'm just a revolutionary when it comes to style.

We're having peace talks [mass uninstallings] and we might reach a resolution by the end of I Don't Know, 22nd. I haven't given up though! I finally got the Gimp working! That's my image editing software that I use. No I don't have photoshop but I'm content with the GIMP. If you have anything to say just leave a comment. You don't have to have a Blogger account because now I'm allowing anonymous comments. Sweetness.

I saw The Fifth Element the other day. It's only like the best movie in the world. So I feebly attempted to draw the Mondoshawan. It came out alright, not my best though. Oh yeah,in case you didn't know I like afros. They're a reoccurring theme in a lot of my art. So are goatees. And Widow's peaks. And mutton chops.

Both of the heads on the first sketch were done first by drawing a skull and then adding the flesh and whatnot to it. A buncha people tell me I should be working on anatomy right now so I'm gonna try a little more structured drawings as I actually apply real anatomy to my drawings. Believe it.
